TWoL 6: Don’t forget the Gold Bond!

We’ve got a great episode for you this week. Our guest this week is Scott from the YEM Blog. We talk about his site as well as his work on Hidden Track for Glide Magazine.

Festival 8 is rapidly approaching and as it does so shrinks the list of albums for the Halloween show.

If you’re a noob to festivals you’re definitely going to want to pay attention to this weeks podcast as we discuss essential items as well as some great travel tips you need to know.

Phish also made a news announcement regarding all the activities that will be going on at Festival 8. It’s going to be one hell of a busy weekend if you are going to try and do it all.

The amount of nitrous on the scene seems to have really gotten out of control. We review a great article by HeadCount talking with a former fan turned security company CEO and his thoughts around how big of a problem this has become.

The beacon of wooks is lit in NYC tonight. It’s kind of like the batman signal except instead of a super hero arriving you get a ton of hippies.

Caribbean Holidaze makes the annoucement that this will be their last year in Jamaica.

As always we take a listen to your voicemails, we have an especially incoherent one this week I’m sure you’re going to enjoy!

episode 6

TWoL 3: 1 for $3, 2 for $5, 7 for Hampton.

Welcome back kids!

First up we have our guest host TJ who gives a review of all the heady lot food and the inflation of lot prices he saw on tour this year.

This episode has a review around the recent Bisco shows at Starland including some “uplifting” discussion of Bisco chicks.

Up next we discuss the scene with the Trey show at Carnegie Hall and questionable characters who were hanging around outside. There’s a great article from Headcount depicting the situation.

Last but not least we talk about an unfortunate situation at the Universal Church of Love and Music that happened a few weeks back.

We also review the results of last weeks poll on what’s your favorite lot. Thank you to everyone who voted we received over 100 votes! To see which lot won you’ll have to tune into the broadcast, the results may surprise you.

We’ve also got a new poll for this week, tune in to the podcast to find out what it is . (Don’t scroll down ;-)

As always we finish the podcast off reviewing your voice mails and addressing the important issue of what’s a gangsta wook?

Thanks for listening, as always feel free to leave us a voice mail and we’ll be sure to address your questions/comments/concerns on the next episode.

Peace!

Keeping with the times of 2007, we decided to add a Facebook fan page. Keep up to date with all of our happenings: episodes, photos, live stream, links, etc.

This Week on Lot is available for episode sponsorship from any website, agency, or group that would prove relevant to our listeners. Feel free to contact us for more information.

DIY Merch

Want to rock some TWoL stickers or merch? That would be great, but as of now we don't have any funds or resources to hook you guys up (unless you see us on lot, then we might have some stickers).

Not to worry, there is a solution. We have no problem with anyone downloading the logo and using it however you see fit. Get some sticker paper at Walmart. Print some labels at Staples. Grab some "Iron-On" T-Shirt transfers. Upload the image to Cafepess and make a mouse pad. It's really up to you. We appreciate the free advertising and have no doubt you will look fly in that TWoL hoodie.

PS: We'd love to see pics of any merch you make.
